Weeping Bottlebrush Tree |
Several of my faithful followers (LOVE you faithful followers, by the way) asked me yesterday about the photo of the fuzzy red blooms... here is a full shot of one of our Weeping Bottlebrush Tree. Eventually it will have twice as many flowers, I'll try to remember to snap a pic when it is in it's FULL glory.
We have two of these beauties next to our pool and they are now large enough to provide total shade over our patio table. Yea! The hummingbirds LOVE their bright blooms, and since one of them is directly outside my family room window, I get a ringside seat for their entertaining little hummingbird dance. I do wonder though, where do these cute little guys live the rest of the year?

What a beautiful way to shade your pool!
I love the bottlebrush. Not your usual flower, but still so colorful and interesting:)
We had one just like this in my childhood home. Thanks for the trip down memory lane!

Ohmygosh!! The humming bird picture is amazing!!! I've tried to get so many pictures of the humming birds here, but none of them come out D= Beautiful tree, by the way!! :D
FYI... that hummingbird pic is for sale on etsy, just click on it! :)
How pretty! I want a bottle brush tree and a pool and warm weather, now!
Love your weeping bottle bush tree!
This post also reminds me to make the hummingbird food for my feeder now that spring seems to finally be here! :)

Hi, we have a weeping bottlebrush tree that we are in the process of trimming. Can the wood be used in the BBQ?
Thanks,
