It's that time of year...March 1st and the
Carolina Jasmine is in full bloom. CJ is always the first of our flowers to make their appearance signaling the start of spring soccer, volleyball, and swim team (yes, my life does sadly revolve around youth sports). Once these fragrant beauties are planted, they are virtually maintenance free.
I took this pic this morning. These line my back fence, and I can see them from every window on the back of my house. Just for kicks I did a search on
Etsy for "Carolina Jasmine"... didn't really think I would get any hits, but pleasantly surprised at these fun finds...
And finally, if you would like your own touch of easy springtime, order the real thing... Happy Happy Spring!

as a Mainer, we are one of the last states to get spring flowers. I can't wait to find them poking through the snow!
I can't wait for Spring -- Happy March 1st to you!
Here in Maine there is still snow all over everything. thanks for the early taste of spring
This definitely puts me in the mood for Spring. :)
I love the flowers. I have a jasmine planted around a dead pussy willow bush. Hoped to have it take over. However, after reading your blog - I went and checked out mine and it looks dead too! We've had some extreme temps this winter - so I'm hoping it's just dormant.
I have some Jasmine! Mine are the white star shape flowers. I love your yellow Carolina Jasmine, it's beautiful, and I love the bell shaped flowers, too!
Thanks for using my Camellias and Carolina Jasmine scan. Glad you like it as much as I do!
Thank you!

Thanks for introducing me to the Carolina jasmine. We plan on visiting South Carolina this summer, and I will keep my eyes peeled for them.
