These little friends were quite far away from the neighborhood lake they normally hang out in, and they were in NO hurry, unlike ME. So I stopped, watched them waddle by, and I was grateful for the moment that forced me to jump off the gerbil wheel, SLOW down and clear my head. On a gray and busy Tuesday, made me feel just duckie.

What's that old saying?.....Sometimes you have to stop what you doing and take time to smell the ducks?....wait....LOL !!!! They are very pretty ducks at least : )

Hi! I was doing the same thing this morning...taking my 8 yr old to school! I was bummed I forgot my camera at home because the daffodils are blooming in the ditches and I wanted pix! Thanks for visiting me. I live in Sweetwater which is between Knoxville and Chattanooga. I'm from SD originally but have been here 22 yrs..love it!
Instead of taking time to smell the roses, you took time to watch the duckies. Much cuter and satisfying! :-)
