These wildfires are still raging... 38,000 acres and over 600 homes in Bastrop County alone have burned to the ground and the fires are still uncontained.
YOU CAN HELP... Donate to the American Red Cross of Central Texas and pray for the families and firefighters battling this on-going and catastrophic event.
We need rain, and we need these fires to STOP.

Very, very sad!
Words fail.
Those pictures are horrifying. I was in California one summer when there were fires, and I remember seeing the charred ground a few days later while we were on the highway. It's so surreal. I can't imagine what those poor people are going through.
Very sad. Thinking about you and all your fellow Texans and hoping for rain....soon.
I would give anything if I could send our rain to Texas...we don't need it. The pictures and the stories are heartbreaking. I continue to pray...
It's really awful. Every day on the news, more and more. I'm in the DFW area and my heart just goes out to all these folks. Praying for rain!
